If we are going to know that each being has more than one character inside, we have to do something to be transparent, to bring out what is hidden inside us and our other characters that we are afraid to show to others. It is obvious that the invisible lower self and our multiple personalities create disorder. I believe these affect our current lives. In this process, the counter-reaction technique is the defense mechanism that alienates the idealised or deformed self from the real self most. Sexuality is the most fundamental example of this. It enables us to develop a defence mechanism against society and ourselves.
Some materials that I use and of whose techniques I do not share, are sort of the metaphors of these taboos in my mind. Through my reflection it destroys your defense mechanism. The moment that makes this exciting for me is the reflection of these works on you, providing inferences for you.
Apart from my models, I also use myself as a model. I like to add a piece of myself in my works. Because every day you know a new person, I know. You experience a different being at every age, maybe you force yourself to live. I have been discovering various identities in myself since my birth. Apart from the seeds of thought that we call a certain established character and principle, there is another me ready for exploration, still, from within this body, the soul I call Naz. To show yourself or hide it well. It’s not always, or it’s never hidden. While practicing this, one should only know that various selves are formed in this body and the inner power is pushed to the bottom.
As we pass through life, those various selves get stuck and there is an accident; the only size the character shows. It is impossible for a person to live without bring to existence them self. They have to show at least one otherwise we are facing death. The person I show on myself is just anybody. Anybody, any Naz.
