This is where a dangerous edge begins:

Will what you believe will happen actually happen?

Sometimes you believe so strongly that something will happen that it seems like the natural outcome of a divine order, a scale of justice. It’s as if the universe, God, fate, or whatever you believe in will give you “what you deserve.” Because you’ve been patient, waited so long, been true, and asked for it. And so you want to believe that somewhere, somehow, your reward will come.

But sometimes…

That expectation may not be destiny, but simply an illusion painted by our hearts’ quest for justice.

Because humans can’t abide coincidence; they seek meaning, not coincidence. And often, they call the expectation of a just outcome “fate.” Yet, this is a projection of our beliefs, not the universe’s. We can never fully know whether it’s truly existing fate or merely a fabrication concocted by a heart yearning for justice.

Sometimes, amidst so much reality and logic, they long for a divine talisman;

and a voice calls out through an angel:

“Don’t be afraid. I saw your tears. You did your best. Now sit back and know that you are loved. For this wish is not empty; there is support. Both on earth and in heaven.”
